October was a very busy month for us. Of course with the new addition to our family came lots of adjusting but besides that, we had Arianna and Seneca's birthday, My niece Kyla's birthday and baptisms, Halloween and Galatea got student of the month and i found out she took first place at the fair for her lion drawing!
Lets see first things first, Amelia is doing good. We went to the pediatric cardiologist and they looked at her heart and said yes she does have a significant hole but she seems to be thriving (meaning she is s chunk) so i just get to watch her and take her back in six months. That was a little bit of a relief. She also has been battling her jaundice and still has it so now that she is a month old they are looking into her liver, they took blood the other day and we should here back this week, i hope it all goes well. So she is a great baby and loves to eat! She really is a chunk, i have first bath pictures, sun bathing pictures, and pictures of her wearing head bows from aunt Amy!
We had a little part for Arianna's birthday. It was the day we came home from the hospital! One of the ladys in our ward had brought a cake so we used that! Sad huh? Thank goodness she had no idea what was going on adn was just excited to blow out her candles. We had Andy and Annalee over and it was fun. even though Arianna still refuses to speak, you can tell her brain is always turning. I love her so much and her ability to always make me smile. She is so easy to take care of and such a good girl.
Galatea got student of the month! She was so dang cute, i new she was getting it because her teacher is a really good friend but she came home and said mom they said my name over the intercom, i thought i was in trouble at first and then they told me that i was the student of the month! She was so proud of herself and i was so proud of her. She also got a first place on her entry to the fair and we were really excited about that. She is sure growing up fast and such a great helper.
My adorable niece Kyla asked me and my mom to sing at her baptism if i was feeling up to it, so off we went to Payson for her special day. The night before we had a combined birthday party for Seneca and Kyla seeing that there birthdays are a day apart and it was a good time. Seneca is now 4 years old, which doesn't seem real because she is so tiny and still acts young but she is a doll. I love Seneca and her sweet personality, she is so sensitive but that can be a good thing too. For Halloween she was a pretty pink fairy, everyone got their nails painted black, but not Seneca she had to have grandma paint them pink!
Kyla's baptism turned out really great! My brother came down and him and my dad did the talks, they were really good. I am lucky to have such a spiritual family. Chris' talk really moved me and reminded me how important the holy ghost is in our lives, i am thankful i got to be there to hear his talk and my dad of course was so amazing talking right to kyla and i could tell it made her feel so special. I am so proud of her and her decision to get baptized.
Halloween was a good time the girls had their melt downs before we left but once we were going it was fun. My arianna was a witch as well. We went trick or treating on main street up there in payson and it was exciting for galatea because she was the bad witch from the wizard of oz and we saw a group all dressed up as the characters of the wizard of oz and that made her pretty happy. They got enough candy to make them happy!
Aaron had to go to school that week and so we stayed at moms and had a good time visiting with her and dad and amy's family. I miss not living right next to them but it also makes our time together sweeter. I missed Aaron like crazy but had fun taking the kids to all the parks and duck ponds around. We even attempted going out to eat a couple of times, it might not have been the best decision as my girls are good until about 10 minutes before its time to go and then oh my goodness watch out! I wish we could have had more time with my sis, and her kids but life goes on.
So we had a great time and november is here already. I will be planning my wards thanksgiving party this week and going through all my kids clothes, they just have too many, if anyone is in need of a particular size,, let me know haha but really were do you keep six years of clothes for both seasons????????? Life is a little different with four children, they seem to never get bathed and hair done unless we are going some were but they all seem happy and content. Galatea was already drawing a picture of baby number five the other day and i said slow down girl ! I am truly blessed to have these four angels!
I hope everyone has a fantastic November and remember i love ya!
