Apple Turkeys

My sister reminded me of these great apple turkeys that we used to make, i didn't remember all of the items but we improvised and the girls really liked them, and enjoyed the candy as well! Arianna made one also but was only in a diaper so i am not posting that one. some of you have asked about Amelia, her jaundice was still there when we tested it last time my doc talked to peds and they said check it again in 2 weeks and then see where we are at. I guess it is very unusual for a baby to still have jaundice at her age but i feel like everything is ok. If it was that big of deal i think they would have not given me more time to try to get it down. But really you would never even know anything was up, she is thriving and really a happy baby. She has begun to smile at me and it is so dang cute! I had my wards thanksgiving party and it turned out good, i was more accurate this year on how much i needed to make, Aaron pitted 7 turkeys, the ward made 4 big things of potatoes, and 12 things of stuffing, 15 assorted pies and 12 dozen rolls and 2 large salads! I ran out of gravy and salads but who new salads would even be touched, come on people it thanksgiving you arent supposed to be healthy haha! i was really pleased with it all and so very thankful for everyone who helped make food, i couldn't imagine having to cook all that food after shredding all the turkeys. I decorated the tables with a checked brown and orange topper and then sat a pumpkin on the top , then tied a bow around it with light brown tool and dark brown material, i liked its simplicity. It did take me like 3 hours to set up because i kept having to stop and take care of kiddos but it looked nice after wards, and it only cost me 12 bucks. the toppers were left over from last year and the pumpkins we donated! All in all it was a good turn out!

Lots going on...

October was a very busy month for us. Of course with the new addition to our family came lots of adjusting but besides that, we had Arianna and Seneca's birthday, My niece Kyla's birthday and baptisms, Halloween and Galatea got student of the month and i found out she took first place at the fair for her lion drawing!

Lets see first things first, Amelia is doing good. We went to the pediatric cardiologist and they looked at her heart and said yes she does have a significant hole but she seems to be thriving (meaning she is s chunk) so i just get to watch her and take her back in six months. That was a little bit of a relief. She also has been battling her jaundice and still has it so now that she is a month old they are looking into her liver, they took blood the other day and we should here back this week, i hope it all goes well. So she is a great baby and loves to eat! She really is a chunk, i have first bath pictures, sun bathing pictures, and pictures of her wearing head bows from aunt Amy!

We had a little part for Arianna's birthday. It was the day we came home from the hospital! One of the ladys in our ward had brought a cake so we used that! Sad huh? Thank goodness she had no idea what was going on adn was just excited to blow out her candles. We had Andy and Annalee over and it was fun. even though Arianna still refuses to speak, you can tell her brain is always turning. I love her so much and her ability to always make me smile. She is so easy to take care of and such a good girl.

Galatea got student of the month! She was so dang cute, i new she was getting it because her teacher is a really good friend but she came home and said mom they said my name over the intercom, i thought i was in trouble at first and then they told me that i was the student of the month! She was so proud of herself and i was so proud of her. She also got a first place on her entry to the fair and we were really excited about that. She is sure growing up fast and such a great helper.

My adorable niece Kyla asked me and my mom to sing at her baptism if i was feeling up to it, so off we went to Payson for her special day. The night before we had a combined birthday party for Seneca and Kyla seeing that there birthdays are a day apart and it was a good time. Seneca is now 4 years old, which doesn't seem real because she is so tiny and still acts young but she is a doll. I love Seneca and her sweet personality, she is so sensitive but that can be a good thing too. For Halloween she was a pretty pink fairy, everyone got their nails painted black, but not Seneca she had to have grandma paint them pink!

Kyla's baptism turned out really great! My brother came down and him and my dad did the talks, they were really good. I am lucky to have such a spiritual family. Chris' talk really moved me and reminded me how important the holy ghost is in our lives, i am thankful i got to be there to hear his talk and my dad of course was so amazing talking right to kyla and i could tell it made her feel so special. I am so proud of her and her decision to get baptized.

Halloween was a good time the girls had their melt downs before we left but once we were going it was fun. My arianna was a witch as well. We went trick or treating on main street up there in payson and it was exciting for galatea because she was the bad witch from the wizard of oz and we saw a group all dressed up as the characters of the wizard of oz and that made her pretty happy. They got enough candy to make them happy!

Aaron had to go to school that week and so we stayed at moms and had a good time visiting with her and dad and amy's family. I miss not living right next to them but it also makes our time together sweeter. I missed Aaron like crazy but had fun taking the kids to all the parks and duck ponds around. We even attempted going out to eat a couple of times, it might not have been the best decision as my girls are good until about 10 minutes before its time to go and then oh my goodness watch out! I wish we could have had more time with my sis, and her kids but life goes on.

So we had a great time and november is here already. I will be planning my wards thanksgiving party this week and going through all my kids clothes, they just have too many, if anyone is in need of a particular size,, let me know haha but really were do you keep six years of clothes for both seasons????????? Life is a little different with four children, they seem to never get bathed and hair done unless we are going some were but they all seem happy and content. Galatea was already drawing a picture of baby number five the other day and i said slow down girl ! I am truly blessed to have these four angels!

I hope everyone has a fantastic November and remember i love ya!

Baby Amelia!

On the 7th our new baby girl was born, Amelia Maureen. She is a great baby and we feel really blessed to have her here. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and looks alot like my other three. The delivery was easy and fast well as easy as labor can be , thank you epidural, i had great nurses and it was basically a great day. She of course has jaundice and is under the lights for another two days but hopefully her numbers will go down and we can get rid of that. She also has a heart murmur, and will be going to the heart doc soon but besides that she is really healthy. I am feeling well and trying to figure out how to be a mom to 4 under the age of 5! Wow can i say that i am spread thin, and it hasn't even begun! But it wont take too long before we all get used to life with a new baby. i just cant tell you how sweet she is, we are truly blessed to have these 4 girls in our family. I have lots of pictures but since we moved i have no idea were my cord is!!!! So when i find it i will post a picture, until then i hope all is well.

Baby Shower

Yesterday my wonderful sister in law and friends through me a baby shower. They said they were sure my stuff was getting worn out after all these girls. We had a great time, lots came and ate and visited. They had it at 9'oclock and so they served breakfast, oh so good, i must say that the second plate was just as good as the first! I am really lucky to have such great friends and family and i got some really awesome presents! Those who through it really went above and beyond what i expected, oh and the plates and stuff were princess they said because i have little princess'! So sweet! Afterward my grandma, aunt, amy, and friend Katherine went out to eat, the place will re mane anonymous but its in pima and still is as gross and old as it was before. And i love taste freeze! Anyways after wards i was still feeling just so yucky so i called and talked to the doc and he told me to come in and get checked, still at a 4 and about 85% effaced, the baby has just dropped way way low so when i have the contractions now it radiates all the way down my legs woohoo! He wanted me to stay and get checked again in two hours but he wasn't my doctor so i decided i would go lay around until my doctor is back. We then took the kids to the park and then home. MOm and dad went home yesterday and was such a help to me this past weekend. Amy heads home today also, but they will all come back this next weekend, its so nice getting to spend time with them. All in all it was a good, busy, and long day!

22 days left

Just some of my random thoughts, i only have 22 days left of this pregnancy! Scary! What in the world will i do with four little girls!!!!!!!! And i love being pregnant besides the painful part, so i am like do i really want it to be over? Today i have had a lot of contractions and i can tell it is getting closer, i am excited but also have this yucky feeling of remembering what it is like to get up all night. Anyways i probably wont post for a while, Aaron and i are in the process of moving into Keith's house until we decide what our future plans are. So we have some busy days ahead of us. We sold our house and it got us completely out of debt besides our truck, its a great feeling! But now we are homeless, what a weird feeling. Anyways wish me good luck ! And i hope everyone has a great week!

Kindergarten is fun right?

So my sweet heart Galatea hates school! I have been avoiding saying that out loud because i was hoping it would change! I feel so bad for her but at the same time its getting old quick. I mean i worked in kindergarten and first grade and i never saw a child who hated school, and now its my daughter still crying as she gets on the bus in the morning and i am the parent getting the phone calls from the school. I guess her class room is cold, so she insist on taking a sweater....this morning i got a call from the school counselor saying Galatea was in tears because "her mommy forgot to pack her sweater!" Great now i am the bad guy. It's so weird because she loved loved loved preschool, and i thought she would totally enjoy kindergarten, she doesn't, even though she is learning so incredibly fast, i still think maybe its just too much for her. I have tried the send a picture thing, do something special with her, ignore the crying, just about everything! I know their has to be a person in the world that has gone through this, right? She told me she doesn't like it because she doesn't know everyone and because she just misses being with me. Sweet yes, that she misses me, but its not like i can say ok i miss you too just stay home!

We love TREES

TREES

This was such a fun Sunday for our little family. For quite a while now Galatea had been asking to climb a tree, well we finally found some trees that were worthy to be climbed, in this pictures Aaron sat both the girls way high in this tree, of course i was a little freaked out but as always my girls were so ready for the adventure. We were actually out there for a picnic but the girls thought it was more of a photo shoot and tree hugging contest then a picnic! I love my girls , they are so much fun and they really do keep me laughing. Galatea said mom I want you to take a picture with me looking up, I was like o.k., I thought, this will be easy I have done numerous shots with the person looking up and oh so great, oh was I wrong...she just tried everything but it was not working, but I did laugh at her trying to be so old...I guess she saw a picture recently of Pretty Aunt Amy that I took and she wanted to look like that, we almost got there.....
